Palouse Constructed a sixteen and a half mile 115kv line insulated at 230kv with a fiber and VEHS static line through the rugged terrain of the cascade mountains. This whole job had little to no access and had to performed with tracked equipment and helicopters. It took place in the heart of winter with consistent rain and snow making it even more difficult, but nothing our crews couldn’t manage.
